“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his inner most being shall flow rivers of living water.'” John 7:39 NAS
For I will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. Isaiah 44:3
…And the Lord will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones; and you will be like a well watered garden, and like a spring of water who waters do not fail. Isaiah 58:11
Have you ever been really thirsty? It takes a lot for me to get really thirsty. We cannot go without physical water for very long. Our bodies were made for much more than food or water though. The word of God tells us in no uncertain terms that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit!
Have you ever felt spiritually in need? You may be asking what do I mean? How does a person know what they might need? I know that souls can be drained….is only a fragment and that we can be spiritually drained if as believers we are not careful!!
Our soul consists of our mind, will and emotions. They can be sapped dry by the stress and drama of this life! But to be spiritually thirsty may be a sign of something even deeper than you soul can contain!!!
My question to you is just this…when you feel like your walking a desert walk, what well do you draw from? Sleep, food, water is all good to replenish our bodies. You have got to realize, that deep with in us the essence of our soul is wasting away if its not getting what it needs to survive.
If, you are a true believer in Jesus you have been filled with the Holy Spirit. Its a daily infilling and not a one time think….The scriptures plainly tell us to be filled with His Spirit.
Yes I believe in the Trinity….I believe in the Spirit of God. If you are not experiencing the rivers of living waters then you have NOT have the FULL EXPERIENCE in your inner most being!! When our souls experience fully the power of the HOLY SPIRIT deeeep downnn…is when You will feel more fresh and revival will fall upon your soul.
The Spirit of God have not lost His power. We can have a Pentecoste experience. God has not left you in the high and dry, He wants the living waters to pour into you and run its full course.’
We are human and yes we do sin on occasion…Right???? We know to take our sins to God and confess them and turn away from them. and to be forgiven and cleansed from all unrighteousness!! Why am I saying this is to make the point that unconfessed and habitual sin grieves the Holy Spirit…..is that the drained and dry feeling you are experiencing??? Then you need to be right or get left!!!
Father, I come to you right now and I confess my sins to you. I Plead the BLOOD and ask you to cleanse my heart of all impurities!!! Forgive me and fill me FULL Of Your Holy SPIRIT!!! Let me not only fully experience the Presence of Jesus but let your rivers of Living WATER saturate my parched soul and may it also effect my personality with the fruits of the SPIRIT come forth from not only my lips but my very character….Give me wisdom let YOUR deliverance of sin and those impure habits be broken from me in the name of Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit who raised HIM from the dead!!
