Patricia Dunn-Jones

Patricia Dunn-Jones has been a member of Faith Deliverance Worship Center (FDWC) in Burlington, NJ, formerly Deliverance Evangelistic Church of NJ, since 1993. Patricia accepted Jesus Christ as Savior at the tender age of 16, while attending Green Pasture Baptist Church of the Bronx, NY where she was a member for 25 years. As a member of FDWC, Patricia has served in various ministries: Children’s Church, Secretary of the Youth Ministry, Intercessory Prayer, Coordinator of the Light of Hope Support Group, Coordinator and Facilitator of GriefShare, and she is presently Coordinator of the Senior Care Ministry, a Deaconess in training; member of the Flag Ministry, Bible Study Teacher and Assistant to FDWC’s Assistant Pastor.

Patricia has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Secretarial Studies (Legal) from the Borough of Manhattan Community College, a Certificate in Pastoral Counseling from Philadelphia Biblical University and a Grief Educator Certificate from David Kessler Institute.

Having always been a person with compassion for others and gifted with a listening ear, Patricia decided to further her education and attended Philadelphia Biblical University (now Cairn University) where she earned her bachelor’s degree in The Bible with a concentration in Christian Counseling. Following graduation, she started the FDWC Light of Hope Support Group Ministry with the support and encouragement of the late Pastor, Eric F. Ricks and his wife, Rev. Vernelle Ricks. After the death of her youngest son, Patricia became the Coordinator and Facilitator of the FDWC GriefShare Ministry to provide support and resources for grieving families.

In 2019, Patricia retired after four decades as an Administrative Assistant at a major New York City law firm. She now devotes her time to volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children in Foster Care. In previous years she was a volunteer on the Crisis Hotline for Contact of Burlington County.

The Lord has prepared Patricia to be a Ministry Partner of Basking In His Presence Ministries. Patricia looks forward to encouraging and enriching the lives of women by sponsoring retreats, workshops and through other ventures, as the Lord leads. One of the scriptures she has relied on throughout her adult life is Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Patricia and her husband Ronald Jones reside in Willingboro, NJ. They are the parents and bonus parents of four sons, two daughters, several grand and great-grandchildren.
